SPICY SAUSAGE PASTA SKILLET

Ingredients:  

- 4 Al Gharb Gourmet smoked chicken sausages (your choice of flavor)
- 8 ounces penne pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Broccoli
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
4. Slice the moked chicken sausages into bite-sized pieces and add them to the skillet. Cook until the sausages are lightly browned.
5. Add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until it starts to soften.
6. Pour in the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Stir in the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
7. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together, ensuring the pasta is coated with the sauce.
9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the pasta through.
10. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
11. Serve hot, and if desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
